Life coaching is an incredible tool for anyone looking to improve their personal or professional life. Working together in a collaborative partnership, a life coach can help you identify your goals and develop a plan of action to achieve them. With various techniques and tools at their disposal, a life coach can help you overcome any obstacles standing in your way and provide the support and accountability you need to stay on track. Unlike traditional therapy, life coaching is focused on the present and future, empowering you to make positive changes and achieve your desired outcomes. No matter your unique needs or circumstances, a skilled life coach can help you gain clarity and direction and ultimately reach your full potential.
Psychologists diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based techniques, while life coaches focus on personal and professional growth and do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Life coaches believe the person being coached already has the answers within them, and they help them bring the answers to the surface. They act as the coachee's thinking partner rather than offering them advice. Life coaching is client-led. The coach can work as an accountability buddy for the coachee after identifying their values, goals and action plans.
I work with clients from all walks of life who are committed to personal growth and achieving their goals. Some of my clients are seeking career advancement, while others are looking to improve their relationships or find greater fulfillment in life.
Life coaching is becoming increasingly popular in sports as athletes and coaches recognise the benefits of a holistic approach to performance. Life coaching in sports focuses on the mental and emotional aspects of performance, helping athletes overcome mental blocks, manage their emotions, and develop a growth mindset.
Life coaches work with athletes to help them set achievable goals, develop strategies to overcome obstacles and stay motivated and focused. They help athletes manage stress and anxiety, build resilience, and create a positive attitude towards training and competition.
Life coaching in sports can also help athletes improve their communication and leadership skills, which are essential for success in team sports. Coaches can also benefit from life coaching, enhancing their leadership skills and creating a positive team culture that supports their athletes' mental and emotional well-being.
Life coaching in sports can help athletes and coaches achieve their full potential by addressing performance's mental and emotional aspects. By developing the right mindset, athletes can overcome obstacles, stay motivated, and perform at their best on and off the field.
At U First Coaching, you are the centre of our focus. Whether you are an athlete, performer or any other professional, we keep you at the heart of your life's journey. If you are involved in sports, you will be coached by a qualified Life Coach(Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching) and a trained Sports Doctor (MFSEM, UK). Having had the experience of travelling around the world with sports teams, laughing and shedding the occasional tear with the team, we have first-hand knowledge of the demands on an athlete.
Life coaching is about empowering you by giving you the clarity of what you want to achieve, finding out where you are at, what is holding you back, what you plan to do and holding you accountable to your plan. It does not involve giving any advice, especially medical advice. However, because of the range of resources, we can direct you towards various books, podcasts, and professionals. We can signpost you to these resources if asked. It is then up to you to make up your mind on what you want to do.
There is no one-size-fits-all rate; all rates are individualised toward the person's needs. For example, the rates we charge a charity are heavily discounted compared to a professional football player. Please get in touch for a free one-hour no commitment discovery call to learn more.
If you have any questions regarding my life coaching services, please get in touch with me so we can talk about it.
